TriBeCa Loft - Wall-to-Wall Carpet

Initially our client fell in love with the 'Tui' rug in silk and wool but as the design process progressed we realized the pattern would need to be altered to best suit their requirements.

Our client was very specific with their vision for the space, requesting a bright color palette to tie in the pink, purple and orange highlights of adjacent rooms while not being overtly feminine. Another key for this design was to ensure 100% silk areas of the design were close to the bed so every morning the client could step out onto the soft fiber.

For wall to wall carpet we make a site visit to ensure there is as little waste as possible.

From the initial strike-off we were able to make changes to accommodate for other elements of the renovation process, such as wooden floors and doorway configurations. A soft lilac was used to substitute the aqua silk (shown above) and the black outlines were removed to soften the space.

This is why we always recommend a strike-off before production to ensure the best result.

The final carpet was inspected before installation by our team in Brooklyn.
