The Jay Hotel

Multiple spaces

We are proud to have collaborated with the renowned design firm AvroKO on a stunning renovation for The Jay Hotel in San Francisco. Our role in this exciting project was to create three large, custom-designed rugs for the hotel’s reception, lobby, and lounge areas. Each rug was hand-tufted using 100% New Zealand wool, ensuring both exceptional quality and durability.

Hampton Bays

Dining areas

Located in Hampton Bays, NY beach community, our client chose a custom, flat-woven rug in the dining area of her home. Made with Tibetan wool, she selected a neutral palette, punctuated with abstract motifs inspired from her passion for surfing. Blending organic and geometric elements with hand-drawn lines atop of a gridlike pattern.

Office

Multiple spaces

These rugs were produced for a commercial pantry and reception area located on the sky-high 68th floor of NYC’s iconic Empire State Building. While straightforward in form and design, their production takes on a more bespoke approach – hand-tufted, 100% New Zealand wool with a tip-shear loop pile in the field, contrasted by a cut-pile border.

Upper West Side

Living room

This Upper Westside family loves a classic herringbone pattern and a pop of color for their living room. Custom designed and fabricated in NZ wool and Tencel for a durable, silky sheen. Kenzie, their Scottish Fold kitty, approves of the sophisticated look and equally loves the soft cut-pile on her paws.

Office building

Lobby

We designed two minimalist rugs and situated them at opposite ends of the grand lobby to mirror one another. Produced in NZ wool and nylon for texture and durability, the rugs are designed with neutral tones, and contrasted by thin lines of gold and a tip-sheared loop pile. This element adds more dimensionality to a deceptively simple design.

West Village

Staircase

This West Village townhouse was one of the most challenging projects we’ve taken on! Our clients tasked us with carpeting four staircases, each one different in size and shape. Each floor has its own theme of colorful jewel tones, all contrasting off the same neutral background. Hand-knotted Tibetan wool was used to ensure a clean, perfect fit.

Investment firm

Multiple spaces

We produced four large-scale area rugs for this New York office’s co-working, lounge and conference room spaces. The geometric designs follow a repetition which recalls an architectural aesthetic, in a warm and subdued color palette. These rugs not only make a statement, but are made to withstand medium-to-high traffic working environments.

Harlem

Dining room and foyer

Method + Moxie and their client decided on area rugs in warm, neutral hues for the entryway and a seating nook. Though the rugs are separated, they wanted them to be thematically connected, which we accomplished by using blue, silk lines – raised for a sense of movement on the nook piece. Each are hand-tufted in NZ wool, for refinement and durability.
