These designs, born from a rare collaboration with the preeminent New Zealand artist, Max Gimblett, were carefully selected from his colorful works of ink on paper. The project spanned two years and resulted in twelve unique designs.
In November 2023, there was no better way to launch Lucy Tupu Studio in New Zealand than with Max’s collection. These ready-made rugs are now exclusively available in New Zealand, each hand-knotted in 100% Tibetan wool.
